Basketball Cookies

I just delivered an order for a co-ed bridal shower.  The groom is into basketball, so I made basketball cookies for the first time.  I think they turned out really well.  I'm always really paranoid when it comes to geometric designs because I'm such a perfectionist that it drives me nuts if the lines aren't perfect.  But these were much easier than I thought they'd be.  I bought the cookie decorating card from Karen's Cookies that shows you how to do sports balls.  I also found a different design on flickr for basketballs, so I did half each way.

This was my first order from someone I didn't know, which made it a little more high pressure than making cookies for friends, but she really seemed to like them, so phew!  Over the next few days I'll post the rest of the cookies I made for this wedding shower.
