Indian Feather Cookies

Sorry, that is so politically incorrect.  When I was a kid, at Thanksgiving we'd sing that "one little, two little, three little Indians" song.  Now at my son's preschool, they sing "one little, two little, three little Wampanoags."  So silly.

Anyway, I had an order this last weekend for feather cookies for a Native American themed party.  And my husband has reminded me to mention that I made the cookie cutter for it.  I know it's a pretty simple shape, but still, I made it, not my husband.

These are so pretty! I love the wet-on-wet technique.

Once again you've outdone yourself: eatable art!

Wow! I love your technique. I would really like to see how you made this cutter too! Were you inspired by cookieboy from Japan for these feather cookies?
